Time to Create With Color Burst

Such fun in a small bottle! And the creative wheels are spinning,  you will have to visit again to find out about the really cool projects I came up with using all of the elements I created!

kinda making a mess…..

mod podge goodness…..

see the texture…...

and the distressed look…..

cheaper than therapy!

how does a girl stop?

layers of fun!

heating up the craft tool!

blotting with the 'ole kitchen roll!

the science of colors…...

cranking out the die cuts…..

oh yes! I am falling into this creation!

I had this thought, "what if I placed another leaf over the top of this  one"…...

how many leaves should I make!

Two leaves about to become four!

loving the colors…… and so ready for fall! Texas days are still finding us in the 90's!

And the lady is going crazy! That's right let us mess up everything and drag all the toys out!

Merlot……oh-la-la!!!!!!

EXCITED TO SHOW YOU WHAT I DID WITH THESE!

Alizarin Crimson; is there any reason not to love this color?!

Getting carried away in the moments!

Are you ready for Fall yet?!

Yummy goodness!

A little inky fingers, but ahhhh look at the details of the leaf!

Cardmaking with Color Burst

Dipping the distressed edges into Color Burst….. loving the way it colors the edges!

Distressing tool is a great way to rough up the edges of the Ken Oliver Craft Hometown papers.

I used a 4 x 6 piece of watercolor paper and embossed it with the
Alterations Texture Fades; Steampunk.
then I layered in a coat of sepia Color Burst
lightly sanding gave it a worn look
and then I came back with a little more Color Burst!

Way cool technique of changing the color of my string so that it would match my paper!
Because I kept playing in the paint my paper was getting pretty wet and I accidentally tore it; so with a little more glue and Color Burst I concluded it was a happy accident, adding to the distressed look!

Yes, I blotted the excess with a paper towel!

Using Glossy Accents I attached the gears!

I mounted all of my embellishments to a 5x7 Kraft card. The finished card will tuck into the inside of a craft envelope that has a few Color Burst sprinkles along with a Ken Oliver Craft stamp.
